Chapter 5: New she-wolf

(Thomas on side————————->),

I stuck my head further in the soft pillow taking huge breathes, Time to go over the events in my life,

Okay,

Me and Ethan were kidnapped, Check, I put up one hell of a fight, Check, We were brought to Night Of Wolves for who knows what reason, Check, I am in huge trouble in my future, Almost Check, I hate my life, Check,

Well I guess that covers the basics right?,

“Eva dear, is your headache gone?”, I heard the sweet old voice ask,

I lifted my head wishing more than anything I could just jump out the damn window and make a run for it, I smiled at the old make staring at me warmly with concern in his eyes,

“Yes Thomas, I think the pain is fading”, I replied sweetly getting in a sitting position on the soft queen bed,

After I had ran into Thomas Rogez, the principal, who had been very kind to me while he lead me through the halls to my dorm outside the school near the lake,

Thomas and me had gotten off to a good start, I acted like a sweet harmless girl and he even offered to show me the lake but I declined say I had a headache,

Like most school girls and boys weren’t allowed to have the same room though they were allowed to be in the same dorm,

That was because of the whole ‘mate’ thing and they couldn’t stay very far away, And that brings me to the whole ‘mate’ topic, I hate it,

You all know the whole born with mate thing but ours is different, Yes we are born with our other half out there but that doesnt mean that we have to be with them, Usually the guy mate senses the mate nearby and if he accepts her all he has to do is claim her and such,

But if he doesn’t thats another story, He can mate with another girl even though he has a mate yet doesnt want her, his mate will go through some pain, Maybe a lot but I’ll never know,

“Eva dear, since you feel better I would like to show you to your classes then the rest of the day you are free”, Thomas said as he took out a copy of my schedule from his pocket,

He looked at the watch on his wrist and told me to follow him,

I reluctantly got off the bed and followed Thomas outside the dorm, I didn’t have a ‘dorm buddy’ because as Thomas said that the elders, council kind of old wolves, thought that I was to ‘unpredictable’ and shouldn’t have a buddy unless they really need to put someone somewhere,

I sighed heavily as we stepped outside and began walking around the campus to the huge doors to enter the school,

I seriously didn’t want to be here, I would so try to escape if only I had a chance at actually getting out of this place, And I had to find Ethan,

“Thomas”, I asked “May I ask you something?”, I felt easy with Thomas maybe due to that he wasn’t an ass to me,

“I think you just did dear”, he chuckled as he saw the glare I was giving him, “Go ahead.”,

“Umm so Ethan’s alright ya”, I looked at his eyes waiting for his response,

He seemed amused as he chuckled again and smiled ” Of course Eva!, He is as healthy as a wolf can get, What, did you think we were experimenting on him or something?”,

I rubbed the back of my head and chuckled nervously “Umm no?”,

He patted my shoulder as we started nearing a door with 742 written on it,

“Ahh…dear Eva you have much to learn.”, I just nodded my head and became serious once again,

A small red headed woman with heels walked up to Thomas handing him a white folder and whispering something in his ear before walking away,

Okayyyyyyy,

“Over here”, Thomas said happily as he opened the 742 door slowly,

I crossed my arms over my chest sighing my eyes becoming hard and my guard going back up, I just needed to find Ethan then we’ll be out of here,

Once the brown door was completely open he ushered me in him following behind me,

I heard a voice talking loudly and sneeringly, Oh joy!,

The voice stopped immediately as me and Thomas who I’m going to call Tommy came into view, The teacher was so mean looking as he saw me that I didn’t even want to describe him because sadly I knew him,

He was from my old pack and had always hated me, He would be mean and say very hurtful things,

A shocked expression crossed his face then he smirked, What the hell?,

I just glared at him as he said “Well look who we have here!”,

Thomas smiled as Garson, I think his name was, walked up vowing his head a bit at Tommy and smiling evily at me,

“Eva, this is Mr, Garson”, Thomas smiled warmly at me and pointed to Garsons extended arm, Like hell!,

“We’ve meet”, I replied venomously as me and Gars began our staring contest,

“You have?”, Tommy muttered “From where if you don’t mind me asking?”,

I was about to speak when Garson replied “she used to belong to my pack.”,

We stared until I won which wasn’t long and I smirked, He thought he could beat me,

Tommy handed the white folder to Garson as he walked back to his desk, I haven’t even noticed all the students here but I ignored them raising my brow at Tommy,

“I’ll be back to see how your first class goes by in a bit.”, Tommy said warmly as he smiled at me,

“Ya, see you later Tommy”, I muttered towards him narrowing my eyes at Garson, He had a folder with my name on it,

I heard some gasps and giggles from the students but that didn’t bother me,

Tommy walked up to Garson and whispered ” go easy on her she’s been through the a lot.”, I was probably the only one to hear it because the whole class was loud and talking,

My crossed arms tightened and my jaw clenched a bit, Go easy on me?, What the hell?,

Tommy gave me one last smile before exiting the classroom leaving me in the hands of the devil,

“Well Evie, you can take a seat next to Andrew”, he pointed to a small kid, kinda nerdy looking,

I felt my lip twich and I whispered dangerously “It’s Eva.”,

I walked to the desk he pointed at, Damn him, Damn this school, Damn me for getting caught,

I sat next to the kid that looked at me as if I was going to kill him, I raised my brow and crossed my arms again whispering “I’m not going to hurt you” while looking towards the front, I can feel the stares of the whole class burning a hole in my head but I ignored them,

I could tell that Andrew I think got tense once he heard me talk, I turned my gaze onto him looking into his eyes that hid behind his glasses,

“It just um…., he likes to pick on the new kids”, Andrew whispered,

My eyes flickered to Garson before I looked back at Andrew ” he’s gonna have to try”, I whispered dangerously,

“Eva!”, Garson boomed snapping my attention to him in the front of the class looking like he was about to explode,

“Yes”, I said stretching my Y and rolling my eyes before looking at him,

He seemed irritated, Ha!,

“Answer my question!”, his face was a light shade of red,

“You asked a question?”, I asked honestly but I heard a few giggles which were not helping my situation,

He glared at me and stood in front of my desk,

“What have you been doing for 3 years”, he asked like he wanted me to get emberrised, Good luck!,

“Something you’ll never get to do”, which earned me more laughs and Garson turning reder,

He narrowed his eyes and asked in what HE thought was a dangerous tone “And what would that be?”, he had leaned down a bit,

I smirked and moved closer to his face, Our faces were about a foot apart when I answered,

I smiled evily and spoke “Your mom.”,

This made the class burst out laughing, I smirked again, Take that!,

“Silence!”, the class immediately got quiet,

He tried to make me emberrised again saying “Well it’s quite sad that you only seem to attract women’s attention.”,

He shook his head laughing by himself when I stood up causing him to look at me,

“Well at least I can get ‘women’s attention'”, I smirked when his face turned from laughing into anger, The class burst out laughing once again, I could hear some ‘burn’ and ‘she got him’ and other nonsense,

The bell rang signaling the end of class, I smiled at him one last time before walking by him and hitting my shoulder against his causing him to slightly tip back,

I saw Tommy open the classroom door as I smiled and headed towards him smiling, Oh!, This actually might not be so bad,

“So how was class Eva?”, Tommy/Thomas asked,

I shrugged and replied with a “Not as bad as I thought.”,

He chuckled then his face turned serious,

“Umm.. I guess you already know that I must talk to you about the situation with Mary.”,

I shrugged once again keeping my cool but inside I was scared shitless,
