Chapter 3: Welcome to my personal Hell

I could have sworn it was like centuries that I sat in that dark where ever it was starring at the white beauty with greenish blue eyes just like mine ,depending on my mood, Her fur was clean and only changing a bit of color on the feet to a dull washed-out gray due to the dirt that probably soaked in from the years,

I knew this because she’s my wolf, My other half that helped me get this far,

The dark room or whatever it was that seemed endless was pitch black, Only her and my figure was shown with light that had no beginning, Like a flashlights beginning is the flashlight itself ,but this was weird but oddly enough I felt….calm,

I think I was in my mind?, Well, my mind is pretty boring I thought,

I didn’t freak out and try to run through the shadows and cry frightened that I might be stuck here, where ever this place was, forever,

I sat with my feet crisscrossed and my hands folded together in my lap with a straight back sitting maybe inches away from my wolf,

I was at peace oddly just sitting there because my wolf made me feel safe, She’s done that ever since we ran away from our pack, Didn’t mention that did I?, Well Ethan and I had been on the run for 3 years now never having a permanent home or a family that would care and cherish us,

I guess you could call us rouges though we didn’t get banished or anything from our pack, We ran away leaving our pack thinking that we were young, only 15 year old kids, that were obssessed with eachothers love that we went to spend the rest of our lives together,

But of coarse that not true, My parents would know the truth, even though they were part of the reason I left,

Let me explain, I was a young fifteen year old she wolf youthful, beautiful, had many friends like the rest of the she wolves, My parents dragged me ,my dad was the Beta, to the Alpha who asked my parents to see me, They have always been loyal to the Alpha, obeying ever wish even the one to have their daughter,

Cruel, yes but did they care?, Noooo!,

So they took me to the Alpha, little young me clueless to why the Alpha, who had always been kind but really was a sick sick man, would want to see me, I had done nothing wrong or had I?,

My parents hugged me saying ”Do as your told” or “Do not disrespect your Alpha” both knowing why he had called me there,

He smiled at me and I smiled back because as most of my pack all liked and respected our Alpha without knowing his true face, He made me sit next to him on his bed and we talked for what seemed like 20 minutes about me and how I was the most active and strongest young she wolf that he had ever seen, I of coarse blushed and thinking he was only praising me till he pushed me down on the bed holding my hands on my stomach with one had and shutting my mouth with the other and spoke the words that haunted me,

‘You will be a great mother for my pups’,

He then tried to rape me which was shocking to me, The Alpha had his whole pack lied and with a numerous amount of she wolves he chooses me, A 15 year old she wolf that had done nothing but be herself and the sick bastard chooses that he can just rape me to hold his pups?, He was like what 45 or something!, Major perv,

So I did what girls do best and kneed him in his private area causing him to fall off me cluching it saying ‘I lik’em fiesty’ and that about crossed the line,

I burst out in tears running out of his room and bumped into my parents, And I remembered what they had told me and it hit me hard, All I could muster was ‘You knew’ and then burst out screaming ‘You knew and you didn’t try to stop that sick bastard!’,

They called my name as I ran through the rain that had begun last night and ran not shifting yet, I burst through the door of the old barn house and Ethan was on his feet in seconds hugging me to his chest whispering comforting words, I pulled back in tear him asking what was wrong and me only whispering back ‘The Alpha….tried to….take advantage of me’ and that made him mad, Like, the steam coming out of the ears mad,

I pulled back and said that my parents knew and didn’t stop him and now if they find me they’ll just take me back,

That’s when his murdering face disappeared and and turned around to me holding my shoulders and saying ‘Let’s run away, Just you and me!, We don’t need them!, Let’s leave!’,

All I said was ‘thanks’ before me and him shifting outside running through the dark woods as fast as we could so the pack couldn’t catch us, I was pretty sure that the Alpha commanded all his wolves to search for me because we saw a couple but they didn’t see us, The rain was blocking out our scents,

Ethan was my hero ever since, He choose to run away because as the elders put it he was one of the few ‘gifted’ in our pack, There were a few ‘gifted’ wolves in each pack that were gifted in hunting, running, smelling, fighting, healing, and so on, His gift was persuasion, which only a few members of a pack had,

He could persuave people but it took alot out of him, Thats why he was weak most of the time because he had to use persuasian to let the other elder wolves we had been staying at like Max to let us stay with them,

He ran away with me because he was going to be sent to a school far away from our pack were one of our crazy wolf pack member said they stick needles in and observe you in pain, Sounds dandy right?, No, not really,

Yeah so that’s my life story, It’s weird that all these events lead to me sitting here with my wolf for once in peace in a long time, I started chewing on my bottom lip for once getting bored and started looked around where the hell we were,

All I saw was dark, dark nothingness, Very creative brain,

My eyes flickered to my wolf just as she fell to the floor howling in…pain?, I was confused and started to get up for once to help her and see what was wrong,

Then I fell to the ground crying in pain tears streaming down my cheeks the pain erupting from my left arm and spread throughout my body, I felt like I was being jerked out of my body as odd as that sounds, My vision started to fog up the darkness turning into whiteness, Odd?, Yes, But now wasn’t a time to rejoice about seeing the light when my body felt like it was being bitten by millions of snakes,

Ugh!, What the hell!,

Then almost in a instant the pain was gone along with the sad howl of my wolf, I blinked light coming into my eyes making me feel dizzy, It was like those movies where the person wakes up in a hospital with those damn bright lights shining in their face, That’s how I felt,

Whoa, There was little lights buzzing around in my vision, Like a bunch of pretty flashlights,

“Pretty lights”, I said not really quiet and tried to reach for one of the lights, I giggled, Wholy crap!, I giggled, There was seriously something wrong with me,

I saw two fingers snap in front of my face as I looked at them confused and tried to reach for one the lights still buzzing like bees except their sound was more electric than bee like, Cool,

The fingers kept snapping and I heard a deep angry voice but it sounded far away, I saw the fingers move and a set of darker ones filled my vision, They snapped once and I felt all my light headedness and drowsiness disappear along with the lights my vision coming to look at a brick wall that was very very tall, Don’t think I could jump that,

I titled my head ot a side and touched the brick and felt that it was more than a couple feet thick,

“Damn”, I whispered not thinking I could jump or break that,

I felt a leather gloved hand move my chin to the right and my eyes came in contact with Fry,

Shit it’s Fry!, I gave a mental eye roll and smack on the forehead as I remembered the whole car accident thing, Whoa!, I rode a limo!, I smiled and then frowned when I remembered that I had also crashed the limo, Crapppp!, Well it already happened so I just excused the ” till later,

“Since we finally have your attention Evangeline, I would like to say one last thing before we turn you into your assigned location”, assigned location?, What the…., “It has been quiet a challange in my life being assigned to retrieve you, Thank you for being so hard to get”Fry said sarcastically, Did he just use sarcasm?,

“Well, your welcome Fry, It’s been a pleasure making you assignment fun as a change to your normal dull and boring life.”I smiled a dazzling smiled with the army guys laughing their butts off and I swear I heard Fry grumble about not teaching me a lesson since we where to close to the location,

“Enough!”, He yelled and this time stopped even me from his loud and commanding voice, “Let move.”,

He seemed better than before,

I still had two guys holding both my forearms so I didn’t escape, I looked down at what I was wearing and saw some black short-shorts with a torn up white and black v-neck with a cross on it, Nice along with a pair of white flip-flop, Cute I thought but then it hit me, Who the hell changed me?,

Fry was walking in front of me and I looked at the back of his head and asked tapping his shoulder “hey um Fry”, He turned around a eyebrow raised, Cool I couldn’t even do that!, “Who the hell change me may I ask?”, I asked him kindly,

“Devin did”, He pointed his thumb to the dark colored skin guy that turned and smiled at me, Since I read people so well I figured that he was gay, I didn’t mind though, At least it wasn’t a perv I couldn’t really care anymore, I smiled back at him as he turned around and started chatting away with his buddy, Aw!, He was the only nice person here,

I turned back around to face Fry who had turned around and asked “Hey one day can you show me how to do that eyebrow thing?”, I asked him hopefully,

I heard him chuckle which made me smile as he answered “If I ever have the pleasure of trying to hunt you down then I think I may.”,

I grinned even wider as I said “Well, then I guess we’ll see each other reeeal soon Fry.”,

He turned to me as we approached the large gate with curvy black metal that was about higher than the brick wall and had a N A on it, What did N A mean?,

“I hope not”, I heard Fry mutter more to himself than me, Aww, Well that was really sweet, I think I could get used to Fry, He wasn’t that bad,

I almost jumped up like a scared cat as the gate started opening to what looked like a huge building with a bunch of figures walking around, My heart was thumping in my chest and increased as a tall about 35 year old blond wearing a knee length black skirt with a white long sleeved puffy blouse smiled or more like grinned like a idiot and popped up in front of me,

She chukkled as she stuck her hand out at me “Hello I’m Mary, you must be Evangeline?”,

“No, it’s your mother,”, I told her bluntly, Gosh it was hard to not say some mean things too people like her but I couldn’t succesed,

Mary chuckled annoyingly, I could have sworn I hear Fry chuckle too, but not along with Mary, more like add her, Gosh, I only knew him for a day and I was already rubbing off on him,

“Well, lets get moving shall we, and boys don’t you know not to hold a girl so roughly, I don’t she has anywhere to go.”, Mary said to the guys holding my forearms in a iron grip,

I looked between them “Ya, don’t you know not to hold a girl so roughly?”, I questioned them, The looked at Fry as he nodded and they let go which was awesome but formed a barrier around me, Two on each side of me, Four on the back and Fry and Mary in front of me,

I crossed arms and frowned as I breathed “It’s not like I can go anywhere.”,

I heard Mary chirping joyfull about who knows what as I ignored her, I kind of spaced out starring at the ground with gravel path about three feet wide and on the sides it seemed as if grass started,

Where was Ethan?,

But before I could start panicking Mary’s voice interrupted me “Evaengline?”,

“What,”, I automatically responded really rudly,

Whenever I didn’t like somebody I made sure to make it clear to everyone,

Mary chuckled as she said “Well as I was saying can your body guards go now?”,

She seriously had some issues, I insult her and she laughs?, WTF?,

A confused expression crossed my face as she pointed to Fry with her eyes?, Oh!, Wait what?,

“B…but why?”, I looked at her using my puppy dog face,

“Oh…um they can’t come the rest of the way”, she said looking at me sadly as if she could change the rules she would, I doubt it,

I looked at Fry and ran into him wrapping my arms around him and pacing my head on his chest, I didn’t want him to leave!,

“Why must you go Fry and leave me”, I said helplessly and said the last part silent, “with the wicked witch of the west.”,

I felt Fry pat my back ,”Sorry Eva, I have a family.”,

I pulled back blinking, How can he leave me with some weirdo?, “Um..so like thanks for chasing me for three years?”, I tried,

I saw a small smile make it’s way to his lips as he said “Sure as hell won’t want to do that again, Have fun in school.”,

He turned around along with the army guys and jogged back to the gate, Then it hit me what he said,

“School?”, Oh no!, Please no!,

“Oh of course!, Were you not listening?”, Mary laughed lightly as she pointed towards black cursive letters on the huge building that was looking a lot like a….,

Mary cleared her throat and said smiling “Welcome To Night Academy Evangeline.”,

My jaw almost dropped off my face,

Oh never mind what I said before, This right here in front of me was my own personal hell,
